Annie Singletary
Dance and Tumbling Instructor

Annie comes from a theatrical family starting with her grandmother, a professional ballerina and teacher, who encouraged her to start dance as soon as she could walk! Annie studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Tumbling at Karl & DiMarco School of Theatre and Dance in Tampa, FL under the direction of Sandy and Bob Karl.  Annie performed as a featured soloist with The American Musical Theatre Company, and professionally with the Karl & DiMarco Dancers. She completed an intense internship at Karl & DiMarco and started teaching at the age of 16. Annie also served as a choreographer for The American Musical Theatre Company’s youngest group of competition dancers. Her team performed at several events throughout the state of Florida and won various awards at competitions over the years. Annie has performed “The Nutcracker” with The Tampa Ballet, The Ballet Slipper Conservatory and The Pensacola Youth Ballet. She was also a featured dancer in a TV commercial for The TradeWinds Island Resort.

Annie continued her dance education by studying in New York City at the Broadway Dance Center and at various dance conventions, including The Pulse, Tremaine, JUMP and Art of Movement. She has worked with the best in the dance industry, including Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Dave Scott, Tyce Diorio, Desiree Robbins and Moises Parra, to name a few. Annie has over 27 years of dance experience and loves to pass on her passion for dance to her students. She is currently teaching Pre-Ballet/Tap, Creative Movement, Tumble Tots, Ballet, Lyrical and Jazz at LaBelle Performing Arts, as well as Gymnastics at Pensacola State College. Annie also serves as the Rehearsal Assistant with the Pensacola Youth Ballet. In addition to her dance training, Annie has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in General Business from The University of South Florida.
