Bobby Biggs
Dance Instructor

Bobby began dancing in high school under Nannette Whidby, now Nannette Grimm.  He studied Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Improvisation.  Ms. Nannette introduced him to Dorothy Daniels Lister, Kaleidoscope, and Ballet Pensacola.   During this time, Bobby developed his performance skills and danced many roles in "The Nutcracker," as well as several spring productions.

After high school Bobby joined the Marine Corps.  His Military Occupational Specialty was Infantry.  He went to boot camp at Paris Island, SC  and was stationed in 29 Palms, CA for the rest of his training.  After two tours in Iraq and four years in the Marine Corps, his heart was telling him to return to dance.

After returning to Pensacola, Bobby resumed his training with Ms. Dorothy at Northwest Florida Ballet.  He danced in their company for more than four years.  During this time he also performed as a guest dancer for Winthrop Corey at Mobile Ballet, where he continues to dance to this day.

After many years of dancing and substituting for Ms. Dorothy, Bobby began to focus on teaching.  With the help of Ms. Dorothy, Nannette Grimm, and Michael Wardlaw, he has realized that teaching is his true love and calling.
