Mrs. Alderman received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1995. After working for six years as a semiconductor technology analyst for the federal government in Washington, DC, her family decided to relocate to Pensacola to be closer to their families. After two years of federal contracting work in Pensacola, she decided to become a stay-at-home parent.

Mrs. Alderman has also been actively involved in theatre since High School. During college she was also involved in several productions at the Gainesville Community Playhouse, the oldest community theatre in Florida. Productions include: Oliver!, Mame, Arms and the Man, and Starting Here, Starting Now. She particularly enjoys the technical aspects of mounting a production and has been LPA's Production and Showcase Stage Manager since the studio opened.
