Raven Porter
Dance Instructor

Raven Porter has been dancing for 19 years.  She is trained in all styles of dance.  Her specialty being Hip Hop, JazzFunk and Street Jazz.  Raven danced competitively throughout high school on the LPA Company and on recreational High School dance team, under the direction of Jeannie Beasley. 

As a competitor, Raven won several awards and scholarships at regional and national levels & awards, including: cash prizes, Co. Dance – Entertainer Award, V.I.P. Dance – National Finals Open Invitation, Stars of Tomorrow - Regional Grand Champion to name a few. 

Raven has made TV appearances on Good Morning America as a contestant for “Americas Greatest Dancers” as well as Showtime at the Apollo.  She has assisted alongside choreographers Al Bee, Steve Ray Anthony, Tania Ante.  She has taken classes from Brian Friedman, Barry Youngblood and Nick Flores, Frank Hatchet, and Steven Boyd.  Her passion for dance has driven her to teach and share her love for the arts with her students as she continues to gain experience from attending competitions and workshops staffed by today’s top choreographers.
